As the title suggests, the Beer Priest (who mysteriously vanished some years before John Stout did - we now surmise the two are up to no good in Port Royal, hoodwinking innocent Rum makers into giving up their stock) was the entire reason this get together existed and resulted in a live recording by The Former Captain. Filled with Drinking Songs galore, I think this album also featured one of John Stout’s other relatives who played Mandolin and sang harmonies!
